Each assessing authority specifies its own criteria for the different types of skills assessments, set against their relevant professional standards.

For example, some assessing authorities offer a temporary skills assessment for recent graduates of Australian educational teach who are applying for a Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate visa. A temporary skills assessment issued for this reason isn’t a reasonable skills assessment for a permanent resident skilled visa application. Why? Since temporary and permanent visa programs have different purposes, and thus distinctive guidelines for abilities evaluations.

For example, some assessing authorities offer a provisional skills assessment for recent graduates of Australian educational institutions who are applying for a Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate visa. Limited Validity Period

A skills assessment will moreover expire after a certain period, being either three a long time from the date of issue, or on a date prior in the event that specified within the skills assessment. Skills assessments that don’t indicate an expiry date are valid for three years from the date of the assessment.
